DALE ANN BRADLEY - 5 Time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year

Pinecastle Records recording artist, Dale Ann has always expressed in her recordings the boundlessness of Bluegrass music and its musicians and vocalists by incorporating songs from all styles into her shows and albums. "Bluegrass can go anywhere, do anything, rip your heart out and make you laugh." The songs are true and full of passion. The artists love it like their families, which in reality is where all the emotion comes from. The roots of this tree are strong and the branches are blooming. Through all the ups and downs, happy and sad times, Dale Ann has always had a song. No one has handed her anything. She has garnered international success doing the kind of music she loves.

Sister Sadie - All Female Super-Group

After we performed an impromptu concert at the Station Inn in Nashville, all five of us women knew that there would be more than we would do together. We are all in a very natural state when we perform as a group. No struggle…just in tune with thought, spirit and musical expression."

Carolina Blue

Carolina Blue is a Brevard, NC based band whose roots run deep in the tradition of Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs. The band was formed in 2007 after the release of the album "Nothing So Blue" by Bobby Powell and Tim Jones.

Carolina Blue won the South Carolina state bluegrass championship at RenoFest in 2011. The band's repertoire consists of original songs; including Tim Jones'
"Spring Will Bring Flowers", which was recorded by 2014 IBMA entertainers of the year Balsam Range, many bluegrass favorites, and gospel too, all done in the traditional style. In 2016 Carolina Blue recorded a set on Song Of The Mountains in Marion, VA.

Available recordings are Bobby Powell & Tim Jones "Nothing So Blue" (2007 produced by Steep Canyon Ranger Woody Platt and featuring Platt, Graham Sharp, Mike Guggino, Shannon Whitworth, and Roy Chapman), "Carolina Blue Live at Renofest" (2011) as well as self-produced, "Goin' Home
Today" (2016) and “Sounds of Kentucky Grass” (2018).

Band members are Bobby Powell on guitar and vocals, Tim Jones on mandolin and vocals, Reese Combs on upright bass and vocals, James McDowell on banjo and vocals and Aynsley Porchak on fiddle.

Williamson Branch

Veteran bluegrasser Kevin and his wife Debbie Williamson from the Nashville area passed their own talent on to their three girls: teenagers Melody and Kadence, and nine-year-old Caroline. What better reason to put a family band together? The group features the tight harmony singing that many family bands are known for, along with fun personalities and clogging.

Bluegrass Unlimited said, “You never know what you’re getting with a family band. Either it is cuteness and corn pone or a family that takes the music seriously and truly brings something to the table. Thankfully, Williamson Branch represents the latter.”

Turning Ground

Bonfire Recording Company recording artists, Turning Ground are based in Salyersville, Kentucky, rooted deep in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Their style of bluegrass and bluegrass gospel is original and built around five people that simply love the music! They borrow from the traditional sounds of yesterday and blend it with the contemporary sounds of today's bluegrass to deliver a solid drive to their music.  Turning Ground is one of the most talented new, energetic bands to surface onto the bluegrass scene in years.

“Turning Ground is going to make noise in the music industry. Nathan Arnett is a strong and unique front man that writes a lot of the bands music. Mix that with the bands' high energy and stellar harmonies, you have something special. A must see on the bluegrass circuit!”  — Sam Karr, SamJam Promotions
